COMMERCIAL SERVICES
We provide commercial construction services for concrete modification of all types. We have the experience and tools to tackle the most complex of jobs.
WALL SAWING
Over the years, Iowa Wall Sawing’s wall mounted track system has been proven to be the No.1 choice for fast accurate deep cutting. Fully hydraulic or electric powered machines designed for heavy or light work, quickly and efficiently.
CORE DRILLING
Core Drilling is the process of drilling perfectly round holes through concrete walls and floors. A tube shaped diamond tipped bit is mounted on a guiding track for level, plumb, or precisely angled, clean, round, openings.
CONCRETE MODIFICATION
Shot blasting is similar to sand blasting, but it uses steel shot. The advantage of shot blasting is that it is much cleaner and recycles the blast medium. Abrasive blasting is a cost-effective and environmentally safe way to remove dirt, paint, coatings and other contaminants from floor surfaces while providing a suitable profile for proper bonding for new floor coatings.
DEMOLITION
With landfill space dwindling, finding a cost-effective way to dispose of the mountain of asphalt and concrete waste it generated annually provided the opportunity for Iowa Wall Sawing (IWS) to expand its business. In 2009, IWS launched a concrete and asphalt recycling business, which now recycles 100% of the concrete and asphalt taken from IWS work sites.
WIRE SAWING
Wire sawing is a flexible sawing technique that can be used to cut large, expansive areas. The wire sawing system uses a series of guide pulleys to draw a continuous loop of diamond-studded wire through a cut. The system can be configured to fit into confined spaces and is ideally designed for aggregate thicker than 24″.
RADAR IMAGING
Radar imaging by Iowa Wall Sawing Service safely locates objects embedded within concrete structures prior to drilling, cutting or coring!
POLYLIFT & CONCRETE LIFTING
For decades, the terms Slab Jacking and Mud Jacking have been used to define the act of raising sunken concrete. Using traditional methods the results and degree of precision have varied. In many cases, settlement issues are compounded due to the additional weight of the cement-based grout used to raise the slab.
